2006: The first Caribbean Community Heads of Government Prayer Breakfast is held on the opening day of the annual Summit for the 20 CARICOM nations. More information

2005: Christian Embassy celebrates 25 years at the United Nations

2003: Christian Embassy co-sponsored the first annual African Union Prayer Breakfast, held in Maputo, Mozambique for Heads of Government. More information

2000: Millennium Summit Prayer Breakfast, held at the Waldorf-Astoria Grand Ballroom, was attended by 350 dignitaries from around the world, including 16 Heads of State and Government and 100 Ambassadors. More information

1990: Christian Embassy officially accredited as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) at the United Nations.

1985: First annual International Prayer Breakfast on the Opening Day of the General Assembly

1980: Christian Embassy opened its United Nations office at 820 2nd Avenue

1975: Christian Embassy started in Washington, DC.
